Teletherapy isn’t nearly as awkward as you’d think. In fact, it makes life a whole lot more convenient and you end up getting more out of your time with me (andrea) because you won’t be fighting for parking, needing to get a babysitter or that perpetual sense of “i’m running late.”

Online counseling has shown to be a convenient way to get the mental health support you need while keeping everyone safe and healthy during this weird time in history. In fact, a lot of the experts are saying that working with a counselor online isn’t going away anytime soon because people love the convenience of it.

When you come in to see a counselor, a 50 minute visit could take upwards of 2 hours because you’d need to travel TO the counselor, find parking, get into the building, sit and wait. Do the “the thing” and then do it all over again.

Online counseling isn’t cheaper than face-to-face sessions but you won’t need to leave work, take an extended lunch that cuts into your bottom line or find a babysitter.
