meet Andrea Hartman, LCSW, PMH-C

hey, i’m andrea.

how can i help?

Counseling can be super intimidating and scary. At Searching for Hope, we work really hard to take what is often scary and make it as meaningful as possible.

I am really passionate about working with women to help them discover who they truly are before the world told them how to be.

Personally, I have had to learn to cope with my own self-inflicted pressure to be the high achiever and "perfect" mother. i love helping my clients learn how to cope with the stress goes along with belief that we should able to do and have it all. I have also coped with the effects of difficult pregnancies, which led me to working with pregnancy and postpartum struggles.

Professionally, I have worked with children, adolescents, adults and families from a variety of backgrounds and in multiple settings, including in-home therapy, office-based therapy, child welfare, residential programs, and agency management. Basically, I have seen a lot and have worked with a lot of different women and I absolutely love my job and the people I get to work with.
